Givler Engineering opened to provide consulting engineer services on November 1, 1999. The firm incorporated January 1, 2001. Givler Engineering, Inc. specializes in three areas: water
resources, municipal engineering and site design. Water Resources
includes planning, design and construction observation of waterlines, water systems,
sanitary sewage collection systems, stormwater systems, dams, flood detention facilities,
and flood studies. Municipal Engineering includes
planning, design, and construction administration for street rehabilitation, new street
development, flood mitigation, water/sewer systems, and storm drain systems.
Municipal services also include developing the technical portion of city standards and
ordinances, reviewing proposed plats, reviewing applications for Special Use Permits, and
reviewing proposed development plans. Site Development
includes planning, design, and construction observation for floodplain development,
residential subdivisions, utility coordination, platting, and commercial and industrial
site design. Site development services also include feasibility studies for
evaluating the development potential of difficult sites. Structural and Forensic includes wastewater treatment
plants, high-rise buildings, hospitals and related medical facilities, educational
facilities, commercial buildings, military and government facilities, residential homes,
and others. Structural includes Givler Engineering, Inc. is certified with the SCTRCA as a Small Business Enterprise (SBE), Cert. No. 201102316. The office is equipped in the latest civil engineering computer technology with seven workstations, a plotter, an in-house network, internet access, scanning capability, and FTP capability. |
