FTP Site

 

FTP Site Information

Givler Engineering, Inc. provides a central web-based location for transferring files via the Internet using a File Transfer Protocol (FTP).

Logging onto the Site

Contact Givler Engineering, Inc. for a username and password.  Select the link ftp://76.201.15.193/.  Enter the username and password.

Downloading files from Givler Engineering's FTP site

Log onto the FTP site, Navigate to the desired folder, right-click on the file to be downloaded, select save to folder, navigate to the folder on your local workstation where you want the file to reside, and select OK.  Close Internet Explorer to end the session.

Uploading files to Givler Engineering's FTP site

Internet Explorer 7 no longer allows files to be uploaded.  An FTP Client Software must be used to upload files to the FTP site.  This software is not provided by Givler Engineering, Inc.
If you are using FTP Client software, use the following settings (as an example):
Profile Name: Givler Engineering, Inc.
Host Address: 76.201.15.193
Username and Password: Contact Givler Engineering, Inc. for a current Username and Password.
        Login Method: Normal
Comment: Optional

When the connection has been established, refer to the on-line documentation of the software to determine the proper methods for sending and receiving files.
