Givler Engineering, Inc. currently employs two Full-time Professional Engineers, one Associate Engineer, one Mechanical Specialist, one Senior Designer, one CAD Technician, one Financial Manager, one Assistant Coordinator and one Administrative Assistant. L. David Givler, MSCE, PE is the president of the firm. He is a technical expert in hydrology and hydraulics with experience since 1984. His experience in municipal engineering and site development began in 1987. He obtained his Master of Science in hydraulics in 1986 from Lehigh University and his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering in 1984 from Lafayette College. He registered as a Professional Engineer in 1990 in Pennsylvania (No. PE-040565-E) and in 1993 in Texas (No. 73842). Mr. Givler formerly worked for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and several consulting firms. He has also worked on projects in Gabon, Africa. Craig Patterson, PE is a Project manager. He has extensive experience in construction management, field engineering and structural design related to highway and commercial projects. He is an expert in CPM scheduling for highway projects. He ha obtained his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Auburn University in 1982. He registered as a Professional Engineer in 1991 in Texas (71075). Mr. Patterson worked with H.B. Zachry, Figg and Muller Engineers and several other companies. Charles A. Givler, PHD, PE is an associate engineer of Givler Engineering. He has extensive knowledge of dams, water resources, flooding, concrete, steel, pavements, and construction practices. His engineering and construction experience began in1958. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from Penn State in 1957, his Master of Science from MIT in 1959, and his Doctorate from Cornell in 1970. He is registered as a Professional Engineer in six states. Dr. Givler has worked for several other consulting firms and construction firms. He was also a professor at three colleges and universities.
